Our work depends on an ISSE joining our team in Norfolk, VA to support CNIC Programs achieve/maintain Authority to Operate (ATOs) using the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.HOW OUR ISSE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Assists ISSO guiding the SDP program thru RMF process expediting control implementation/policy creation to achieve/maintain 3-year ATO

Maintains system eMASS records, uploads artifacts, updates security controls, and initiates workflow for steps in RMF process.

Validate weekly patching complete and scans results reviewed.

Ensure CESC STIG Compliance SOP is sustained on testing guidance for SDP teams

Reviews and analyze system implementation plans.

Identified corrective actions/mitigation strategies to achieve/sustain RMF compliance.

Validates STIG development/implementation. Ensure all STIGS/scans sustained IAW SOP. Includes validation and IssueTrak monitoring

Develop/maintain Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&M) which account for confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

In eMASS, validate all Assessment Procedures (i.e. security controls) test results reported with proper justification.

ValidateReportedFalsePositives.IfACASfindings, create IssueTrak ticket, notify ACAS team, and coordinatetosubmittickettoDISA.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):

Security Clearance Level: Secret with Top Secret eligibility or higher

Required Experience: 6 years' hands-on experience with a BS Degree in Information Technology OR 8 years of hands-on experience with Cybersecurity, Information Systems development, maintenance and Network Security.

Required Certifications: DOD Cyber Security Workforce 8140 Compliant experience and training including: Security+ CE (or higher) certification, 20+ Hours Technical Training per year; CASP+ or CySA+ or higher

Required Technical Skills: Cybersecurity, Systems Administration, implementation of RMF tools and processes. ACAS, eMASS, VRAM, SCAP, STIG, Patching

Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, problem solving

Location: Onsite inNorfolk, VA
